The traditional manufacturer from Solingen was present with several tool innovations at the international tool fair in Cologne. The focus was on the practical as well as handy "E-detector". The non-contact voltage tester is a small and handy helper when it comes to check cables as quickly as possible for voltage. Other novelties including new sizes of the proven MaxiMX water pump pliers, a new innovative screwdriver series with ergonomic SoftGripp multi-component handle and integrated soft zones for better power transmission, as well as other product introductions and improvements. The clou of the "E-detector" is in the detail, because it can be put on every NWS product with the SoftGripp 3K multi component handles. For example, you can use the "E-detector" on the pliers handle to illuminate dark areas and then apply the "E-detector" to the relevant cable and check for voltage. The "E-Detector" is ideal for confined spaces that are difficult to see, for confusing control boxes, or in situations where many cables need to be quickly inspected. It is operated with two button cells as an energy source. The well-known and proven "MaxiMX" waterpump pliers, with inserted precision joint and the precise push-button adjustment that guarantees easy and safe working, are now available in other sizes. The pliers are equipped in every position with a clamp protection, forged from chrome-vanadium steel, oil-hardened and high-quality tempered. "MaxiMX" is available in different versions, sizes and with optional protective jaws. The new SoftGripp screwdrivers adapt to the hand. The newly developed screwdriver handle fills the hand optimally thanks to the integrated soft zones. As a result, higher torques and longer fatigue-free working are possible. The flexibility of the material additionally increases the sensitivity and allows the precise use of force. The thin, fast rotating zone with a circular cross-section supports the guidance and the safe and fast turning between thumb and forefinger. The new screwdrivers are available in an industrial and a VDE version. The VDE version is also available in a SlimLine version, which thanks to its slim blade insulation achieves deep-seated screw or spring elements.
