NWS celebrated anniversary and birthday

12/28/2016

The company NWS had two reasons to celebrate: the factory in Steinbach-Hallenberg (Thuringia) has now been in business for 25 years, and the employees also celebrated the 88th birthday of company founder Willibald Nöthen. With 150 people the NWS team from the company sites Solingen, Steinbach-Hallenberg and Schwarza and some guests visited the musical "I've never been to New York" in the Essen Colosseum. For the first time in the company's history, the companies were closed for one working day. A visit to the Essen Christmas market, a rich buffet and a speech by Willibald Nöthen were there before the musical visit. All employees were excited by the day, according to NWS general manager Michael Adam.

NWS Werkzeugqualität Solingen, Willibald Nöthen was founded in 1973. With its headquarters at the Röntgenstrasse in Solingen, NWS - meanwhile the company listens to NWS Germany Production - is today an internationally leading tool brand. The life story of Willibald Nöthen is closely linked to the company's success. In addition to the location in Steinbach-Hallenberg, another production site was added in 2008 in Schwarza. The German Unity, said NWS on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Steinbach-Hallenberg site in Thuringia, has become an integral part of the NWS company history.
