Screwdriver grows beyond itself

06/01/2018

Probably every craftsman knows a situation in which he has to work over a longer distance to the screw with a cordless screwdriver, but does not have a bit with enough range. The new Softgripp screwdriver from NWS is more than an alternative for that, because at the end of its Handle a special bit can be introduced as a connecting tool or bit extension to the screw. The processing and construction of the screwdriver are so durable and sturdy that it is strong enough to take the force needed for screwing. The new SoftGripp screwdriver from NWS expands with its classic uses by saving the craftsman valuable time and additional movements. It is possible to store the bit in the cross hole so it does not get lost, to take it out again there is just a finger pressure needed. Also new is that the new SoftGripp Screwdrivers adjust to the hand with their ergonomically and sensibly placed and dimensioned soft zones on the handle. Due to the integrated soft zones the newly developed screwdriver handle fills the hand optimally which allows a higher torque and a longer fatigue-free working. In addition, the flexibility of the material increases the Sensitivity when screwing and enables the precise force application. The thin fast-turning zone with Circular cross-section supports the lead while screwing as well as safe and fast turning between thumb and forefinger. The traditional manufacturer from Solingen, NWS presented the innovative screwdriver series with ergonomic SoftGripp multi-component handle and integrated softzones for better power transmission for the first time during the International Tool Fair 2018 in Cologne. The new screwdrivers are available in an industrial and a VDE variant. The VDE version is also offered in a SlimLine version. Thanks to its slim blade insulation, low-lying Screw or spring elements can be reached.
