The handling can hardly be simpler: just hold the E-detector to the cable and if the cable is carrying voltage, it will be signaled with a red warning light. The e-detector can be slid onto any NWS product with the Soft-Gripp 3K multi-component sheath. For example, you can use the E-detector on the tool handle to illuminate dark areas and then apply the E-detector to the relevant cable and check for voltage. The E-detector is ideal for confined spaces those are difficult to see, for confusing control boxes or in situations where many cables need to be quickly inspected.
