History
In 1973 Willibald Nöthen, founded NWS together with his experienced staff, (Nöthen Werkzeuge Solingen) after the breakdown of Europe’s largest tool forge “Walter Gott”. He was able to connect successfully tradition with change. Within more than 40 years NWS developed into an accepted partner of industry and trade.
Several awards for function, quality and design of hand tools are our advertisement for our focus on innovation. New developments as well as patents guarantee exclusivity and expansion.
After the German reunion in 1991 an additional production plant was built in the traditional tool stronghold “Thuringia”. A complete, international well-known programme of pliers and tin snips is produced on the newest high-speed-centres with the help of an excellent qualified team.
